The lost treasure of  Blackbeard has always fascinated me, I must say. and that’s the last anyone has ever heard of the treasure of Plum Point. My guess is that it wasn’t really treasure, but more likely the remains on one of Blackbeard’s wives, a sixteen year old beauty from Charlestown, SC. Blackbeard liked to get married when ever he came ashore, and he would typically abandon or kill the wife who was in the way.
